IKEA’s second outlet in Malaysia is scheduled to be opened by November 19th 2015. It’s located in Jalan Cochrane, Cheras.
IKEA opened its first store in Malaysia at 1 Utama Shopping Mall in 1996.
With the support of Malaysian fans and customers, they grew from their humble beginnings and moved into their standalone store in Mutiara Damansara in 2003; the biggest IKEA store in Asia at that time.
The new store will be IKEA’s biggest store in Malaysia with an overall store size that is 20 percent larger than IKEA Damansara.
People who are interested to find jobs at IKEA Cheras should know that they are actively hiring and looking for people to be part of their new outlet.
If you’re on the MEX highway heading for Cyberjaya and Putrajaya, you can see it being constructed on the left hand side.
This will definitely help reducing the traffic around IPC in Mutiara Damansara once the new store is opened.
